Mangaluru: Raghuveer Suterpete associate Mundala Community President of Dalita Sangharsha Samiti’s said that, it Samiti and its associate unions will support the Dakshina Kannada bandh over Yettinahole project row on May 19.

If the next generation has to see what Nethravathi River had looked alike, then “Yettinahole project should be stopped”. Politicians should be compelled to raise their voice against the project in the Assembly also,” he said.

A rally drawing attention to the bandh will be organised from Ambedkar Circle to the DC’s office. Around 1000 members of Dalita Sangharsha Samiti are expected to take part,” he added.

Not a single political leader is supporting their fight against the Yettinahole project, said Netravati Rakshana Samyukta Samiti Correspondent Dinakar Shetty.
