Mangaluru : A Maruthi A-Star car lost control and overturned on Pumpwell flyover in the night on Saturday, August 29.

It is said, Students who were in the car had a miraculous escape, the protective sidewall of the flyover prevented the car from falling down.

The accident occurred when three students from Kasaragod were returning to their native after dropping one of their friends to KSRTC bus stop at Bejai in the city.

The car was completely damaged in the accident. The mishap caused a traffic jam on the flyover for an hour.

The south traffic police immediately reached the spot and made arrangements flow of traffic on the flyover.
