Udupi : In a Maruti car and a bus accident One person was killed and nearly 30 others injuried at Parkala here on Monday September 16.

Car driver Vasanth Nayak take life in this incident. He was travelling to Udupi. Other two car passengers seriously injured.

The bus while trying to overtake near a curve, Vasanth smash his car to the bus. The bus rolled off the gorge.

Vasanth died on the way to the hospital. Nearly thirty passengers in the bus sustained injuries.

The local residents rushed to rescue the passengers. The injured persons were immediately taken over to Manipal KMC hospital for treatment.

Manipal police registered a case.
