Udupi : Two people travelling in a Maruti Gypsy   thanked their stars for having a miraculous escape even after the car caught fire accidentally   near the Kukkikatte railway bridge, while on way to Indiranagar from Kukkikatte on May 16, Wednesday

Two persons namely Chandrasekhar Sherigar and Dheeraj were in the car when the mishap took place. Both of them jumped out of the car thus saving themselves. The fire service personnel rushed to the spot and extinguished t he fire.
