Kadaba: In an accident between a Mahindra Bolero and a Maruti Ritz car clims a life at Padavu on the Uppinangadi-Subramanya State highway on January 24, Sunday.

The deceased have been identified as Naveen Martis (30), a resident of Hallangeri in Hosmatha.

The Ritz was heading towards Hosmatha when it collided with the Bolero at a turn in the road.

Car driver Naveen Martis died on the spot while four others have been seriously wounded.

It is said, they are traveling to attend the new minister S Angara’s felicitation programme.

The deceased’s father Nicholas Martis, mother Cecilia Lasrado, sister Sushma Martis and his wife were seriously injured and taken to a hospital at Puttur.
