Mangaluru : A total 26 callers expressed their various problems, and the Mayor Kavitha Sanil assured them will clear the issues as soon as possible. The third phone-in was held along with commissioner Mohammed Nazeer and other officials with media on 30 August from 11 am-12 noon.

Speaking to media persons she said, street vendors occupying footpaths and parking space as their wish, this is a disturbing  for the public. Due to incessant rains drainage overflowing some places in City, Stray dogs in the city are more problematic for both bike riders and children.

People can post their complaints through Whats app, MCC would try to resolve it immediately, she said.

A woman from Maryhill calling for Mayor said, Everyday there is an immoral activity going on near Helipad. This is embarrassed to women walk in that area. She urged to take action to stop the immoral activity in the area. Mayor promised that the police department to informed take action.

A Lady Hill resident complained that the heavy rain floats the waste with water on road. This is causing to mosquito production in the area, she alleged.

MCC commissioner Mohammed Nazeer, Former Mayor Sashidhar Hegde, SC-Srinivas and Corporator Sabitha Misquith and others were present.
