Mangalore : The Panambur Police have registered a case of murder in connection with the death of MBBS student Rohit who was found dead near Tannir Bavi on March 23.

The Police earlier registered accident case, now modified it into a murder case. Rohit’s body was separated from his head when his bike skidded off owing to high speed.

Rohit’s father, Radhakrishnan, works as a lawyer in Bahrain, his mother, Sridevi, a medical practitioner by profession, they visited Mangalore after their son’s died.

As per parents request, the Mangalore police commissioner formed a team for investigating the case.
