Mangaluru: “Mangaluru City Corporation have utterly failed in disposing the waste and has failed to manage the waste related issues in the city,” alleged MCC opposition leader Roopa D Bangera.
Speaking to the press personnel on Friday she said that Mangaluru has become a dirt city due to the improper management of waste.
“The campaigns which were conducted to keep Mangaluru clean were just for the sake of publicity. No proper steps have been taken to improve the present conditions. None of the public toilets are developed, and MCC is building 37 new toilets,” she said.
She also said that instead of constructing new toilets, better to repair the older one, so that the people can use them efficiently.
BJP leader Brijesh Chauta, Vedavyas Kamath and others were present.
