Mangaluru: A team from MCC on Friday raided some of the hi-fi shops in the city for plastics and non renewed trade license shops.

A team led by Kavitha Sanil, President of MCC standing committee for health and education raided city centre mall and the shops of K S Rao road. It is reported that huge amount of plastics were seized by the team.

When coming to the trade license one shop inside the city centre mall is locked out by the team. Speaking to Megamedianews Kavitha Sanil informed that Louis Philip shop was locked down for not applying for trade license. She also said that the shop didn’t even applied for the license at least for once, and one more shop was warned for not renewing the license.

Health officer Manjayya Shetty, Health Inspector Karunakar, Yashwanth, Environmental Engineer Madhu, standing committee for health and education members Rajneesh and Nagaveni were present.
