Mangaluru: Mangaluru City Corporation team led by health, education and social justice standing committee Chairperson Kavitha Sanil raided several shops for operating without valid license, on Saturday at Market area.

It is said that the number of shops functioning without license has crossed 100.

As soon as the officials entered the Market building streets, some of the shop owners ran from the area.

MCC officials were with Kavith Sanil during the raid.
