Bantwal : A accident between medical college bus and a bike resulted, four persons injuries at  Mangalapadavu-Ananthady road in Vittal police station limits on June 2, Friday morning.

A major mishap was however averted as the bus narrowly escaped from landing in a roadside gorge.

The bus belonging to KMC Hospital was ferrying staff of Wenlock, Ladygoshcen and KMC when the mishap took place. The bus rammed into a bike and then veered to the roadside.

Three staff nurses and the bike rider have sustained injuries and have been hospitalised. There were a total of 13 people in the bus.
