Bangalore: An overdose of chloroform is learnt to have led to the death of TV star Hemashree. Medical reports of the star have confirmed this.

It may be mentioned here that Hemashree had fallen ill while travelling in a car from Bangalore to Ananthpur recently and was declared dead in the hospital.

The autopsy of the dead actor was done at Victoria Hospital and later the blackish liquid found in her abdomen was sent for forensic tests. It has now been learnt that she was in rigor mortise when brought to the hospital proving that there was a lot of time gap  between her admission to the hospital, after administering her with chloroform.
