Udupi :  A medical student hailing from Kerala is learnt to have been sexually assaulted by a group of four men on June 20, Thursday night. It is said that the girl was kidnapped in an autorickshaw and then  molested.

According to reports, the 22 year old student, a fourth year MBBS student was waiting outside the college library when four men who came by an auto stopped near here and sought some information. It is said as the girl replied, they pulled her into the autorickshaw and fled the place.

The girl has been admitted to a private hospital and is being treated. Manipal police have registered a case and are conducting investigations.
