Mangalore:  A man, said to be mentally deranged, managed to sneak into the runway of the Mangalore International airport on the evening of October 25, Thursday bringing the airport officials on their toes. It is not yet known how he could get inside the runway amid tight security arrangements.

Any way he was caught hold off by  CISF personnel and was later handed over to the local police. It is learnt the man could only speak Hindi.

In an earlier instance a stray bison had made its entry into the airport premises twice.
