Mangalore: A 30-years old labourer S. Vittal (30), a native of Bagalkot living in Mulky, and taking care of his pregnant wife having a complication in delivery since 4 days at AJ Institute of Medical Sciences, died of injuries on head and legs, as he fell from 6th or 7th floor on Friday.

He had approached a psychiatrist of AJ Hospital on Thursday, for treatment of a mental ailment. He was asked to get admitted on Friday.

The deceased had a breakfast with his wife on second floor in a general ward. Witnesses said he went upto 6th floor and jumped down from 7th floor under construction. He died around 11AM, after talking to his co-workers on 6th Floor at 10AM.
