Mangaluru : A 32-year-old man who was suffering from depression committed suicide in his house in  Vidyanagar, Naringana in Bantwal taluk on Thursday, February 18.

The deceased has been identified as Vidyanagar resident Praveen.

The incident came to light on the evening of Thursday, February 18.

Praveen was an electrician by profession and he was suffering from depression for the past few days.

The post-mortem was conducted at K S Hegde Hospital in Deralakatte and his final rites were held on Thursday.

A case in this connection is registered at Konaje police station.
