Mangaluru : The meteorological department had informed the possibility of cyclonic storm because of the slump in air pressure above the Arabian Sea in coastal Karnataka for next three days from Octber 5.

The department warned fishermen who are in the sea at present to rush back to the shore before October 5.

In its prediction Heavy rains lashed Mangaluru and surrounding on Thursday October 4. The city remained engulfed in dark clouds around 4.00 pm.
