Mangalore : JD(S) State Vice President Sushil Noronha said that some of the JD(S) members are trying to damage the reputation of the party just for their own benefits.
Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on Mar 26, Tuesday, he said that the JDS leaders who quit the party creating internal misunderstanding, shows their mutual understanding with other party.
He also said that M G Hegde was the one who had jumped in many parties and ultimately joined JD(S). He had asked for the post of District In-charge in the party but he was given the post of district secretary, this is the reason for his bitterness in the party. He never worked for the betterment of the party, but joined just for his personal benefit.
Changing party frequently is not a big matter for Hegde, hence he must be conferred with all Party leaving award.
Speaking about Nagraj Shetty, he said that as soon as he joined the party, he started his party office in Pio Mall. He had also assured to give good contestants from his wards during Civic Body elections, but has failed to give even a single candidate from his own candidate.
Sadananda Shetty is a right candidate for the MLA elections and hence HDK had announced him in his candidate lost. But M G Hegde in order to break the party, started to spread the rumours that Sadananda Shetty is not contesting the MLA elections and this is not true, he said.
It is true that M B Sadashiv had brought the B forms from Bangalore and gave it to Dr Uday Kumar, Nagaraj Shetty and M G Hegde, but they had not done any good work during campaigning, he said.
Aziz Kudroli, corporator of Kudroli ward said that DM Aslam had not visited the ward no 44 for campaigning. This result of winning is the effort of party workers, he said.
M B Sadashiv had never changed the party like other from past 35 years and is working for the betterment of the party sincerely.
State Committe member Hyder Parthipady, District vice president Ramakrishna Shetty, District Organizing Secretary Muneer Mukkacheri and District JD(S) Secretary Srinivas Alva were present at the press meet.
