Mangalore : The residents of Milagres and Falnir Wards in Mangalore have come together  to form an association to work towards redressal of their grievances. The Milagres and Falnir Ward Residents Welfare Association which has thus come into being, was inaugurated  by Deputy Speaker Yogish Bhat at a function held at Milagres Jubilee Hall on March 17, Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Bhat urged  the need for such associations  to be formed in all ward committees. He also said there needs to be a good plan to find the needs of the wards and the works that need to be done in the ward during the next five years.

President of the Welfare Association Dharmanna Naik presided over the function. JR Lobo, Congress leader and former MCC Commissioner, Corporators Jacintha Alfred, Abdul Ravoof,Prof. Rita Noronha, Abdul Farhad, Secretary and others were present.
