Mangaluru : Dakshina Kannada district Deputy commissioner Dr K G Jagadeesh has been transferred as per the order was issued by the state government on Tuesday October 10.

Sasikanth Senthil S, an IAS officer of the 2009 batch, has been appointed as the new DC of Dakshina Kannada. Dr Jagadeesh had taken charge as DC in July 2016.

Dr K G Jagadeesh has been transferred as director of the department of mines and geology, Bengaluru, a post that is presently being held by Sasikanth Senthil.

Senthil hails from Tamil Nadu and has previously served as DC of Raichur. He holds a BE degree in electrical and communications.

Ritvik Ranjanam Pandey, commissioner of Commercial Taxes, Bengaluru and Srikar M S, Managing director, Karnataka State Bevarages Corporation Limited, Bengaluru too have been transferred.
