Mysore  : Karnataka Small Scale Minister Narasimha Naik (Raju Gowda) today escaped unhurt after he fell off a water sports vehicle while taking a joy ride at the Varuna Canal, near here,today.

Incidentally, the Minister was here to inaugurate the Adventure Sports events as part of the Dasara festivities.

After the event was kicked off, Mr Naik, with the help of a trainer from Thimmiah Adventure Academy, went for a ride in Skiwater Sports vehicle.

However, after completing the ride he was about to stop the vehicle when he fell into the water while disembarking.

However, he escaped unhurt. He had worn a safety jacket.

District In-charge Minister S A Ramadas was also participating in the event and went round in jet ski vehicle.
