Moodbidri : State Minister for sports and youth affair and MLA Abhayachandra Jain is accused of threatening a journalist for publishing an article on Niddodi Power Project as per the information gathered from RTI.

It is said that journalist Yashodhara V. Bangera, working as a time reporter of Vijayavani Daily, Namma Bedra.com and Spandana TV have collected the information on the project from RTI and had published the article on the subject.

Bangera who rang up to Minister Jain on May 1, Thursday at 6.30 pm to collect opinion on the project and his stand, was threatened to burn the paper in Moodbidri, if he publish the article.

According to the locals, Mr Jain’s furious response and the absurd statement to the journo is not a good sign, he holds the responsibility to stand with the anti Niddodi protestors.
