Mangaluru : State Minister for Animal Husbandry Prabhu B Chavan laid the foundation for a new Goshala to be constructed by the government at Ramakunja of Kadaba taluk, on June 29, Wednesday.

The cow has a prominent place in India, because of agriculture is main crop in the country. To protect them, Goshalas have been started in all districts of the state said, Prabhu B Chavan.

Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLA of Puttur Sanjeeva Matandaoor, Ramakunja Gram Panchayat President Malathi N K and others were present.
