Mangaluru : The Ullal Block Congress Committee and DK District Congress Committees, Mangaluru South organised a jatha from Talapady to Pumpwell on January 28, Monday.

Demanding the early completion of the flyover projects at Pumpwell and Thokkottu Congress Committees hold protest march from Talapady to Pumpwell.

DK District in-charge Minister U T Khader flagged off the jatha. Speaking on the occasion, the minister deplored the failure on the part of the MP in ensuring the completion of the flyovers. He also asked the MP to take cognizance of the state of some of the PWD roads in rural areas of the district.

Former minister Ramanatha Rai, former MLAs Abhayachandra Jain, J R Lobo, DCC Chief and MLC Harish Kumar, party leaders Mamatha Gatti, Shashidhar Hegde, Rajashekhar Kotian, Ibrahim Kodijal and others participated in the jatha.
