Bangalore:  A father and son duo escaped the jaws of death by a hair’s breadth as a concrete mixer lorry fell over their car in the city on May 29, Tuesday. The mishap took place on the Malagala Service Road near Nagarabhavi when SR Venugopal and his son Bharath were travelling in their car.

According to reports, the speeding lorry fell over the car. It was the great presence of mind of the duo that they just rushed to the car within a matter of a second before anything grave could happen.

The car has been badly mauled in the mishap. The accused lorry driver was arrested soon after the accident. He was later released on bail.
