Udupi:   The car belonging to Udupi District Minister Kota Srinivas Poojari was damaged by some miscreants on January 1 morning. Even the house of the Minister’s personal assistant was damaged .

The suspicion is that  one Rama Poojari of Bannadi who was not in good terms with the PA Raghavendra Ganiga might  be responsible for the act. The windshield of the front portion of the vehicle was found broken.

Here it is worth mentioning that several banners and posters of Poojari had been recently destroyed by some miscreants  reportedly out of vengeance against the minister.

Another suspicion is that the strained relationship between the minister and former Kundapur MLA Halady Srinivas Shetty too might have influenced the act.

Investigations are in progress.
