Mangalore: In shocking incidents, three mosques at  Mukka,  Karnad and Kulai  have been attacked by miscreants during the wee hours of December 17, Monday.

Reports say the assailants hurled stones, bottles and damaged the window panes of all the three mosques namely Badria Masjid at Kulai, Jumma Masjid at Mukka and  Karnad Jumma Masjid near Mulki.

The incident came to light when the Muzzain arrived in the morning to render the call for prayer. A large number of people have gathered outside the mosques. Senior police officials too have arrived to take stock of the situation.

Reports say the Karnad masjid had been subject to attack on two earlier occasions too. But no had been arrested in  connection with those attacks.

Congress Minorities Cell President Moidin Bava has visited the attacked mosques and has demanded action against those responsible for the attacks.
