Mangalore : Is there a systematic attempt to disrupt peace in the district by stirring religious sentiments. Such a doubt has arisen considering the recent incidents of stoning two mosques as well as placing cattle hoove in the tulasi katte of a house.

In another case reported on May 10, Friday, cattle hooves were found inside the compound of a Daivasthana at  Uchila in Ullal. Earlier on May 9, cattle hoove was found in the tulasikatte of a house in Uchila Someshwar.

Interestingly, the police have so far not been able to apprehend anyone in connection with these cases. Local MLA UT Khader who has made an appeal to the public to maintain peace also requested the police to track down the culprits at the earliest.
