Konaje : Some unidentified miscreants set fire around the Mangalore University campus once again destroying number of trees and plants on December 24, Saturday.

According to the sources the fire were set at many places around the campus at the same time. This made the fire extinguishers difficult to douse the fire.

The campus which coveres an area of 350 acres are frequently set o fire damaging the natural resources.

Forest officer opined that the miscreants have set fire almost in the locality.
