Mangaluru : Railway tracks are national assets and anyone who tries to harm them is indulging in anti-national activity. Miscreants trying to derail our trains or the peace & progress of Bharat will be dealt with an iron fist, said Captain Brijesh Chowta, responding to the recent incident of ballast being placed on railway tracks near Thokkottu.

This is for the first time that Dakshina Kannada has witnessed such an event but this will not be tolerated.

Police probe has begun and I have also discussed with the RPF and the culprits will soon be arrested. But this is not just about derailing trains – it is an effort to take the development and growth prospects of this nation off track & whoever is up to such notorious activity should know that New India led by PM Narendra Modi won’t let it happen.

There are numerous such events that have been reported across the county over the last few months. It is clearly the job of forces that cannot digest that our government has been chosen for a third consecutive time and is taking the country towards being a global leader, one day at a time, especially the stellar progress of our railway sector.

Citizens should keep an eye for those who are up to such acts and inform the local authorities and police at the slightest instance of any suspicious activity or people.

Together, let’s ensure that we don’t let anyone who even thinks of hurting Bharat’s pride, progress or prosperity get away with it.
