Mangalore : The unidentified miscreants had vandalized the building of St. Theresa’s School in Bendoor in the early hours of October 23 Sunday.
Reportedly, 3 people who arrived in bike had pelted stones at the statue of St. Theresa and also damaged the fiber glass covers of the statue and window and escaped.
The incident was occurred between 4:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. As soon as the night watchman heard the noise, he went to stop them but they had escaped from the location.
Sr. Premitha, the principal of school, said that incident is unexpected because there was no reason for it. She urged the police to catch the culprits as soon as possible.
The school has lodged a complaint at Kadri Police Station.
Seemanth Kumar Singh, the Mangalore police commissioner, arrived on the scene and conducted preliminary investigation.
