Kasargod : ASI Narayana Naik (52), who was washed away in flooding stream at Pallangod on Saturday, July 18, his bike, has been retrieved by the divers on Monday afternoon from about 500 mts away from the mishap spot.

On Saturday evening Fire service personnel and locals rushed to the spot and searched for Naik, but his body is yet to be found.

He was, ASI of Kumbla police station and resident of Adoor Noojibettu. After visit his ancestral home at Mayyala Noojibettu was washed away when he tried to cross an inundated bridge at Pallangod.
