Mangaluru : The dead body of missing person was found in the river at Ullal Uliya on Saturday morning.

A person from Talapady Devipura has been reported missing from near Netravathi bridge in Ullal on Friday afternoon. the Members of Kings Star Uliya who saw the body floating had retrieved it from the river on Saturday.

The missing person is Surendra Rai (45). He was working as a security guard at a private hospital in Mangaluru.

It is learnt he was an alcoholic. His mobile phone has been found on the bridge. His wife too is working as security guard at a hospital in Mangaluru.

Tthe reason behind the suicide is not known. Ullal Police registered a case in this regard.
