Mangalore : Four girl students of the Capitanio High School who mysteriously went missing on the evening of October 12, Friday, have been traced at a house near Shivabagh early Saturday morning.
It is learnt, the four girls Dhanya, Nishmitha, Lavanya and Pratiksha, all eighth standard students had not returned home from school as usual following which a frantic search began for them.
It hsis learnt they had sought shelter in the house of a lady who stayed alone near the ESI Hospital in Shivabagh as the lady had made it a point to them to leave in the morning.
According to reports, the girl chose to run away from home fearing reprimand from parents as they had secured low marks in exams.
The girls who were taken to the station were later entrusted to the custody of their parents. All of them are residents of Kodakkal in Kannur. Reports say they had enquired for jobs in a couple of houses.
