Mangaluru: Mangaluru south MLA JR Lobo offered prayers for rains at the Chapel near Bishop’s House, Mangaladevi Temple and Nadupalli Jamia Masjid, Boloor on Thursday.

Addressing the media, JR Lobo said that there was scarcity of water throughout the state and country. He added that usually pre-monsoon showers provided relief but this year there were no rains; hence special prayers have been offered, hoping that it would rain soon.
