Mangaluru: A brand new car Volvo X C 90 T9 Excellence, which was purchesed MLA Mohiuddin Bava recently, was stalled on Monday evening after it was filled with diesel instead of petrol; the incident comes just after two days of its purchase.

It is said that Bava’s son was using the car. He had taken it to a petrol bunk and told the staff that it had to be filled with petrol. However, by mistake the person filled diesel. The incident came to light only when Bava’s son went to pay for the fuel.

Sources state that the car would have to be taken to Bengaluru by a truck after which the tank would be cleaned and repaired.

Bava, in a statement to the media later said that the staff had apologized for the mistake.

The car used Swedish petrol and battery technology. Volvo X C-90, C-8 Excellent Hybrid car environmentally friendly Bava has purchased the very first time in India, This car cost of Rs 1.65 crore, The luxury car offers a mileage of 30 to 40 kilometers, has a lower fuel efficiency.
