Mangalore : Mangalore South MLA JR Lobo heard the grievances of residents of Ashoknagar area of Mangalore on August 7 Wednesday at a meeting held at the residence of ex-deputy mayor Anasuya Maben.

Lobo gave a patient hearing to various problems pertaining to underground drainage,  manhole overflowing etc. He also visited several places and had a first hand information about the problem. The MLA also directed the MCC officials and engineers to look into the problems and find early solution to the same.

Locals said the fogging has also not been done. Nagaveni, Padmanabha Amin, Radhakrishna, Corporators, MCC officers Sudarshan, Jayanath, Manjunath Shetty and Rajashekhar were present on the occasion.
