Mangaluru : Senior Congress leader B. Janardhana Poojary on Wednesday said that though the performance of the party in Dakshina Kannada in the zilla and taluk panchayat elections was good, it could have been better had there been coordination between MLAs and Ministers in the district.

Speaking to presspersons here, Mr. Poojary said that though Dakshina Kannada had elected seven Congress legislators, they did not sit together and discuss the development of the region. There was no coordination between them, he said.

At the State-level too, in-charge Ministers worked on their own way instead of working closely with the MLAs, he said.
