Mangalore: BJP MLC K Monappa Bhandary in a protest meeting organized and held at DCO gates on Dec. 30, 2013 Monday morning, in his speech to his party workers and public listeners spoke of the Deralakatte incidents of 2 medical students in one of the 3 universities in Deralakatte, being subjected to shameful activities by a gang of 8 Muslim rowdies aged 18 to 30, decried the insult done to the university area as a whole, and students as well as professors of medical sciences in particular, two weeks ago, when the gang of 8 was rounded up by the Konaje police for 15 days of judicial custody.
He warned the high powers in DK district of serious consequences if the arrested gangsters are let out on bail under political pressure of ruling MLAs or ministers of the State. The name of DK district in general and Mangalore city in particular has been dragged down and spoiled by sex maniacs and rowdies of the so called minority community as the revenge against majority community and the student community as a whole.
He called up on students to remain awake at all times and beware of any kind of Muslim accesses, and report the matter to the DK police headquarters (HQ) in Pandeshwar, in swift action.
