Kundapura: For protesting against the delay to provide 94C title deeds Kundapura MLC Kota Shrinivas Poojary and many other followers has been arrested on Friday at Kundapura.

Addressing the protestors MLC Shrinivas said that more than 7000 applicants are waiting for 94C and 94CC title deeds. Not even a single title deed has been provided to the applicants by the Grama Panchayat’s.

“The deaf and dumb government and the local administrative bodies are trying to mislead people. If the Deputy Commissioner can work for people then ket him work, or else he must leave this district,” warned Poojary.

He further alleged that district in-charge Minister also not bothered about the problems of the people.

“Not even revenue officials have done their duty promptly. The promises given from the government are not being implemented. Revenue Minister had directly given the orders to distribute the 94C title deeds to the officials, but the department is not responding to it. If the system doesn’t gets repaired in two weeks protests will be intensified,” he added.

For trying to picket the Mini Vidhana Soudha, Kota Shrinivas Poojary and more than 200 protestors were arrested by police and then released.

Suresh Shetty, Rajesh Kaveri, Gopala Kalinje, Altharu Goutham Hegde, Kishore Kumar, Praveen Shetty, Sadanada and other BJP leaders were present.
