Udupi: The Udupi district unit of the BJP celebrated Vijayotsav following the party’s  victory in five out of the six constituencies in the MLC elections for teachers and graduates constituencies held recently.

District BJP President K Udaykumar Shetty and party leader Gujjadi Prabhaker Nayak who spoke at a function held at the party office at Kunjibettu said  the victory has rejuvenated the spirit of the BJP and attributed the victory  to the hard works of the party workers.

They also made a mockery of the Congress the opposition party which failed to win even a single seat.
Kiran Kumar, TMC chief, Bharathi Chandrasekhar, Vice President, Upendra Nayak, member  and several other party leaders were present.
