Bangalore: A mock demonstration by Fire Brigademen in Peenya an industrial area, has ended in a tragedy with the death of Nalini, a young woman who worked for garments company locally, and took part in the show, on Friday(February 24).

Nalini(23) worked in Bombay Rayon Garment Factory, and was asked by the Fire force to take part in a scene relating to precautions to be taken, when something catches fire, first aid methods, and medical relief actions.

She agreed to take part in the brave act of escape from fire. So a rope was tied to her waist, and she was lowered from the 3rd floor of a house complex, set on fire.

But the rope snapped, and Nalini fell down vomiting blood, and died on way to hospital.

Enraged local witnesses and garment workers went into protests and demonstrations against the erring firemen with their mock shows.
