Udupi: The Modi-led BJP government has completed four years with corrupt-free governance in the country, said MP Nalin Kumar Kateel on June 11th, Monday at Udupi BJP office.
The NDA government has been working to fulfill Swami Vivekananda’s dream of ‘Nava Bharath Nirman’ and ‘Sabka saath, sabka vikas’. “Modi-led BJP government these four years, made a strong nation like the USA led by President Donald Trump,”he added.
Surgical strikes have strengthened the country and introduction of International Yoga Day has taken the Indian tradition to the world. Surgical strikes have stopped terror activities within the country to some extent,” he added.
India’s GDP stands at 7.7% and India is maintaining good relations with neighbouring countries. Former UPA government was corrupt. But now the present central government has taken several steps to tackle corruption. BJP has won by majority from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. Under electrification scheme, 18,000 villages have benefitted. Swach Bharath concept has become a movement and children and elderly persons have taken up the mission giving prominence to cleanliness across the nation.”
“The BJP government at the centre has built seven-and-half crore toilets across the nation. Anila yojana has helped the poor to avail gas cylinders which were difficult earlier. As may as 3.8 crore gas cylinder connections are provided under BPL and Anthyodaya category. Mudra Yojana, has helped the youth to lead a independent life and take up self employment. Every citizen in the country has opened bank accounts under Jan Dhan Yojana which has thereby strengthened the Indian economy. Digitalization too has become successful. Under Pradhan Mantri Graha Nirman Yojana, two-and-half crore houses have been built. Generic medicals have been opened to provide medicines at fewer prices. The people can avail benefits directly into their accounts and the government has been towards creation of jobs,” he added.
“The health scheme of providing up to 5 lac insurance has also been introduced. Under job creation scheme, skill development and improving technical education among the employees has been given importance. Providing basic amenities has been the top priority. National highway works have been fastened. “Karnataka has received highest central aid of 3 lac crore,” he said
