Mangaluru : Health and Family Welfare minister UT Khader speaking at a press meet on Thursday at the Eden Club said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi woudl inaugurate the International Conference on Traditional and Modern Medicine scheduled between January 3 and 7 at Bengaluru.

The conference will be held at Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (VYASA). Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is also expected to be present on the occasion.

Several doctors in Allopathy will share their knowledge on the occasion and will speak on mental stress, heart disease, cancer, diabetes and hypertension.

Delegates from 20 countries will take part in the conference. Apart from the conference, there will also be an Ayush Expo in which nearly 150 companies will exhibit their products and hold a free health check-up camp.

UT Khader said that the speakers would stress on the importance of Ayush and would provide guidance on eating habits and yoga for maintaining good health.

Khader stated that a Pharma Park would be constructed in Bantwal.
