Mangalore : BA Moidin Bava, newly elected MLA from Mangalore North constituency has assured to chalk out several programmes for the overall development of the constituency.
He was speaking at a victory celebrations and thanking function for party workers at Ganeshpura on May 19, Sunday under the aegis of the Suratkal Block Congress Committee.
He said he was indebted to the voters for electing him from the constituency and assured a special package for the development of basic infrastructure.
He said special interest would be evinced in construction of a fisheries port at Kulai Chitrapur, a longstanding demand of fishermen.
He said a suitable decision will also be taken towards constructing a full-fledged stadium, after due consultation with the chief minister.He said he would convene a meeting with all elected representatives of all levels as well as taluk and gram panchayat officials to discuss about the development strategy.
K Vijaykumar Shetty, former MLA and Suratkal Block Congress President urged the party men to gear themselves up for the Lok Sabha elections.
