Mangalore: M Veerappa Moily, son in law of Mangalore and union minister of Petroleum, Natural gas and chemicals was in city on Sunday at the Circuit House in Kadri Hills for a program at MRPL and Tanneer Bavi, and met pressman to tell them that India would suspend Oil and Gas import if any 2030, in view of sustained search for Oil and Gas refining activities and adequate storage of oil products and Gas in the country by then.
Moily came to Mangalore on Saturday for an engagement with MRPL to establish a FTM system in tanner Bavi, and was hopeful that India before long would have the Oil, natural Gas and their products for domestic and vehicular use by creating enough infra-structure by the next 15 years.

Earlier at Tanneer Bavi on Saturday central Minister Moily said that India was making all efforts to become self-sufficient in Oil and Gas production to cater to a vast majority of rural and urban homes in decade’s time around 2020 he told newsman China was at the top in the world in production of crude oil and Natural Gas to serve a population larger than India. But he added that we will pursue our efforts to go be on China in Oil and Gas preservation, Production and usage by a smaller population in this country.
