Mangalore: Union Minister for Corporate Affairs M Veerappa Moily inaugurated Indiana Hospital and Heart Institute, a 300 bed modern hospital with state-of-the art facilities at Pumpwell in Mangalore on May 12, Saturday.
In his inaugural address, Moily said modern medical treatment technology coupled with compassionate doctors and allied staff can do wonders in treating and early recovery of patients.
Dr Rizwan Ali Kumble, Chairman of Indiana Hospital, in his welcome address said the Hospital will provide affordable treatment to the middle class.
Nalin Kumar Kateel, MP, Yogish Bhat, Deputy Speaker. Abhayachandra Jain, MLC, Gulzar Banu, Mayor of Mangalore, PP Razak, Manjeshwar MLA, Dr Shantharam Shetty, renowned orthopedician and several others were present as chief guests.
