Mangalore: Six inmates of Mangalore sub-jail were injured in a serious group clash inside the premises on Monday (Aug 16) night. The fight soon after I-day (Aug.15) was between old jail-birds and recent entries, once they were brought to the Admission Room in the sub-jail. Verbal clashes led to group battle among the inmates who should have put on courteous conduct so soon after I-day thoughts. The accused were Narayan Salian, Nazeer, and Praveen Carlos at the Barke Police Station.
