Kasargod : A women and seven-month old son her son were found ddead in a lake near Badoor in Kasaragod district on Wednesday October 18.

Shruthi (28) wife of Padmanab Rai and her son Ayush are the deceased.

It is said that, after the search by her husband in the early morning today the kitchen door was found open, the dead bodies were found in the lake close to their house.

Sources said, Ayush was a heart patient and was under treatment and Shruthi was disturbed by it. Police believe that this might be the reason behind the suicide.

Deceased Shruthi’s husband Padmanab Rai is working in a boat. He married Shruthi two years back.

Kumble Police have registered the case.
