Kasargod: Shoban (3.5) walking with his mother to the Anganvadi (baby school) when he slipped and fell in to a pond on way. The mother, Jayashree(27) shocked to see the incident ran after the child which was drowning and jumped in to the pond to rescue her son. Unfortunately, both of them could not come out of the pond and went to the depths in a drowning incident almost together. The news of their deaths came to the local people only much later and by that time, the child and the mother was found dead.

The police have registered the case of unnatural death in this shocking incident and are investigating further to find out the truth behind the tragedy.
